I check the polls every two minutes, and can tell you exactly what states bush could lose and still win the election, what states he needs what states could swing to Kerry, but yet still leave bush with 276 electoral votes, oh man. In the immortal words of that creepy guy who rode in my car for seven hours on Saturday during the 72 hour campaign, It makes me puke.... Oh man seeing John Brown say that is better than I ever could have imagined it. I have an accounting exam in 31 hours, I need to study, although in good news I have the highest grade in my Spanish class, or so the teacher tells me. Life is good, yet hectic, I need a month long break from all this school, election, and lack of sleep bullshit.

The 72 hour campaign for which I only contributed around 11 hours of my time two was in all sense of the word and experience, the first day warrants a solo post and will get one in due time, the second day was more normal, and and the end I am one hundred dollars richer, and I actually feel politically involved.

The New conservatives thought of the day:
This election boils down to one thing, do you like bush, or do you not. I have spoken to more than a handful of people who have told me that they cannot stand either one but hate bush more, How in your right mind could you ever vote for someone you don't like, Hell do us all a favor and sleep in that day. People will tell me, but Todd picking the lesser of the two evils is important, and to that I say of course it is, important enough however for you to turn your back on political and even ethical rightness. If bush wins this election, it will be because of one thing, he motivated more voters than the bush haters did, and visa versa. Get out there and vote for someone you believe in, don't listen to anyone but your own damn gut. My chest hurts just effing thinking about it. blah

Bush Cheney 2004 in one damn day comes the reckoning

Pick em,

Fri Night
Hawaii @ Boise St.

Oklahoma @ Oklahoma St.--upset
Purdue @ Northwestern
Iowa @ Illinois
Minnesota @ Indiana
Kentucky @ Miss St.
Texas @ Colorado
Michigan St. @ Michigan
Florida St. @ Maryland
Florida @ Georgia(Jacksonville)--Upset
Miami @ N. To me this depreciation stuff is very simple, it only encompasses three different equations, and yet we have been on this stuff for forever now. Today there are about 35 students, and Tuesday at the exam there will be all 250 of us, or shall I say us and the other 1000 acct students. I really cannot stand the fact that my exam is taken with over 1000 other students. Imagine 1000 nervous people going crazy because they forgot thier calculator, or thier pencil. Speaking of exam, i really need to bust my ass studying for this one. I have a major headache, but stef seems to actually be sick. for those of you who do not know, stef is stefanie, my girlfriend, and better yet my best friend. We met in kindergarten, but started dating my junior year of highschool, that was over two and half years ago. We will get married, and live happily ever after, if she can put up with me, and my scent.

The NEW Conservative's thought of the day:
As i walked down to accounting today, I noticed what i thought were just regular campaign signs of the two presidential candidates. However, upon further review, i realized that there were actually signs with painted messages of why you should vote on one side. This seems like a noble cause, until i notice the discriminatory number of Kerry/Edwards signs to Bush/Cheney signs. I am to assume that the group putting these up put up an equal number of signs of both campaigns. I am also to assume that people have then taken down some of the Bush/Cheney signs. This is to me, The New Conservative, A direct infringement of the free speech right that we are born with here in the united states. The signs are not in derelection of any decency problem, they just dont vibe with everybody. You know what though, get over it, I do not like your signs but i would never take one down, that would be unamerican. But if you see a Bush /Cheney sign and the rage is just to much and you are compelled to tear that mother down then i offer this resolution. If this is the case for you, turn around and just stare at your precious Kerry/Edwards sign with dreams of free socialized healthcare, and a gunf-ree america, and legal dope for you to smoke, and, OH man this is the big one, NO WAR. Oh wait a minute, your precious candidate voted for it, and has stated that he will send more troops to Iraq. But still says it is the wrong war, so not only does he support the wrong war that he no longer supports, but he is also going to send more troops to a war that he used not support then did but now he does not. Jeeze how the hell could you vote for this guy--*shakes head in shame of american people*

Numero uno post

I have but one reason for creating this blog, to give my self a place to write about my everyday life and things that pertain to what I hope is a conservative revolution. To long has the notion of what a conservative is, stayed the same. This would not be a problem, if the notion wasn't that of a close minded, bible thumping, racist, sexist, rich white guy who listens to bad music. People would have you believe this is still the case, I am here to tell you, that is not what I want in my conservative revolution. I think that close mindedness will kill the republican party, and the idea of knowing what your enemies know seems like a good one to me. I find that many people who call themselves republicans are, by no fault of the party, ignorant to contemporary modes of thought. What we need to do, as republicans, is to advance the conservative theory, beyond what it was a hundred years ago. As a conservative I believe however that there are quite a few standards that you must align yourself with to be a conservative.

Free market, capitalism
States rights, we are a republic, not a democracy
Respect for the bill of rights
pro-life, anti-murder
Small fed-government
Strong military
low if not no taxes
privatized healthcare, and money
a general idea of decency, and ethical clarity

the new conservative
